With ETL certification, this plenum cable is completely safe for installation in the plenum spaces of the buildings as it has fire-retardant properties. It means the cable halts fire progression and emits no toxic smoke during the burning phase. Bulk Cat6 Plenum ETL Listed cable offers lightning-fast data transfer rates of 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps at lengths of up to 100 meters and 50 meters respectively. With its 550 MHz bandwidth capacity, you can use this cable for high-speed applications such as ANSI X3T9.5 TP-PMD (FDDI), ATM PMD 155 Mbps IEEE 802.3 Fast, Ethernet :10 Base-T, 100 Base-T4, 100 Base-X IEEE 802.5 :4/16 Mbps Token Ring, and IEEE 802.12 :100 Base-VG.
The cable not only meets but exceeds all TIA/EIA standards and is in compliance with RoHS. It has eight pure copper conductors that have excellent crosstalk and attenuation properties. With no loss of signal strength, the eight pure copper conductors — that are tightly bundled together in 4 twisted pairs — offer excellent protection against crosstalk and EMI.
You can also use Cat6 Plenum ETL-Listed ethernet cable in riser and outdoor spaces; however, it can’t be reversed.
